This week’s meeting is Wednesday 4/10 from 8-9 pm in 105 Shilman! We will be having a Trip Grants Presentation & EBOARD NOMINATIONS! If you’re interested in planning a climbing trip one day, or you just want to hear NUHOCers tell good stories, then this is the meeting for you. This week’s meeting (Wednesday, 4/3), we will be joining NRC for a Reel Rock screening at 7 pm in Curry Student Center Afterhours instead of our usual general meeting! Join us & watch some incredible climbing documentaries that you can’t see anywhere else (check out reelrocktour.com if you’re curious). Hope to see you there! 

We are meeting on Wednesday 3/27 from 8-9 pm! The meeting will begin in 105 Shilman, then we’ll head out to the quad. Here’s a message from the wonderful Eva:

Hello folks! Get HYPED for this week’s edition of NUHOC Chopped!!!! Bring your appetites and your creativity, and get ready to whip up some meals in a backpacker’s kitchen. If you’d like to participate in this week’s cooking extravaganza, please bring a cooking utensil (spatula or spoon). If you have your own camping stove or pot PLEASE bring them as we will be cooking on Centennial with backpacking stoves and pots:) ALSO! Some ~secret~ ingredients will be provided but we highly encourage you to bring your own exciting, whacky ingredient to add to the communal cooking pantry to use in your dish to impress the panel of esteemed judges!

“Bring your pre-loved gear you don’t want anymore to the meeting tonight OR bring your body and desire for giving preowned gear a new life OR bring stickers to trade with other people to the meeting. This week, we will be meeting in 105 Shilman at 8:00 pm. It will NOT be at RockSpot Brookline. The event will be postponed, and tonight’s meeting will be chill and announcing the upcoming trips.

This week, club members will teach various skills related to backpacking, climbing, biking, and other outdoor activities. The meeting will be on WEDNESDAY 2/21 in 105 SHILMAN from 8-9 pm. At the end of the meeting, trip sign-ups will be posted!

This Wednesday (2/14) we will be meeting in SHILMAN 105 at 8:00 PM to go over some brief announcements and an overview of the upcoming Winter Carnival. Then, to finish it off, we will be heading outside to play some games! Sign-ups for Winter Carnival at the Loj will be posted at the end of the meeting.

Please bring a mug or other container for hot chocolate during games!
