Become a member

Becoming a NUHOC member gives you access to several perks, including the ability to rent gear from the club’s gear locker and several other free or discounted passes and memberships. However, you don’t need to be a member to go on trips with NUHOC. If you’re looking to get involved in the club, you should join the Slack and attend our weekly meetings on Wednesdays at 7:30pm (look at the calendar or check the Slack for meeting locations).

To become a member of NUHOC, follow the instructions below carefully.

To Pay Via Cash (in-person)

1. Fill out the NUHOC Membership Form
2. Give the treasurer at the meeting $10 in Cash

To Pay via Credit Card (online or in-person)

1. Fill out the NUHOC Membership Form
2. Go to https://commerce.cashnet.com/SFCSA.
3. Click on Student Groups -> Outdoor Adventure & Wellness -> Northeastern University Huskiers and Outing Club Dues.
4. Type in $10, and then click Add to Cart (Description should be “dues”).
5. Click the cart icon in the top right corner of the screen, and then click Checkout.
6. Type in your information.
7. Select a payment method and enter your payment details.
8. Take a screenshot of the final confirmation page with a green checkbox.
9. Fill out the Online Membership Completion Form and submit your screenshot.
10. Find a treasury member at a weekly meeting to get your physical membership card (not required to redeem the perks).

Membership Perks

In addition to granting you unlimited access to our gear locker, your membership card will get you:

• Two Free climbing passes at RockSpot Southie
• Discounted membership to MetroRock
• Access to AllTrails Pro
• Unlimited gear rental from our gear locker.
