First Fall Outing
HELLLLOOOO NUHOC
It’s finally September summer is starting to fade, and the weather’s been getting cooler day by day. Many of you are returning to school, while others are joining Northeastern for the first time. To all the new faces: welcome! It was such a pleasure meeting so many of you at the Middlesex Fells outing this past weekend.
We loved seeing people from all kinds of interesting academic backgrounds come together through a shared love for the outdoors. We hope you had a great time, made new friends, and are excited for more adventures ahead.
As always, don’t forget to join us at our weekly Wednesday meeting at 7:30 PM in the IV Basement. Come hang out with us and hear more about all the exciting plans we’ve got lined up for the fall.
This weekend, we’re having a “Weather-Off” (yes, it’s exactly as dramatic as it sounds), whether you’re a seasoned cloud-watcher or just here for the vibes, you won’t want to miss it. We highly recommend being there.
see ya!!

Cannolis & Karaoke
HELLLLOOOOO NUHOC!!!
Welcome to August. The summer…the summer’s gone by a bit too fast.
This week, we’ll be heading up to the North End to grab some Cannolis! Now…who’s up for a race?! Optional, of course, haha. I’ll be leading a simple one, up to the cannoli place, for all those interested.
We’ll meet tomorrow, at 7pm, on Centennial, and make our way from there.
(ALSO: Come look like a fool with post-meeting #karaoke!!!)
LAST WEEKEND, IN REVIEW:

BREAKING: Popsicle Freaks Intimidate Bystanders
HELLLOOOOO NUHOC!!!
It looks like another heatwave, haha, so let’s run it back.
This week, come look like a fool. You’ll be facing off in what I’m calling…POPSICLE RELAY! I’ll have ya pair up in teams of your closest friends and closest strangers. Now, the end goal? Intimidate every bystander on Centennial.
We’ll meet, tomorrow, at 7pm on Centennial.
Oh, and yeah—bring clothes you don’t mind getting SOAKED!
LAST WEEKEND, IN REVIEW:

Almost. 1 Degree Short.
HELLOOO NUHOC!!!
It’s the end of the term, and things are finally winding down. To everyone with finals: I wish you the best of luck. And to those on co-op… well, you had a job while it lasted 😉
This week, we’re meeting on TUESDAY, 6:30pm, at Centennial. Let’s make the most of this heatwave with a trip to REVERE BEACH.
We’ll conga-line onto the T around 6:45pm and aim to get there by 7:30pm.
(Psst—I’ll be out there all day, so if anyone wants to head up earlier, I’m down to coordinate!)
I’ll see ya there!

Rain, Rain, GO AWAY
HELLLOOOOO NUHOC!!!
Now, I know you want to sing along: rain, rain, go away; come again ano—well, hmm…
So, I had a little talk with our weather person. Let’s just say, the skies will be blue and sunny on Wednesday, right in time for the meeting. In celebration, we’ll be heading to the ESPLANADE!!!
Slackline tournament, anyone?!? We’ve got frisbees, too. Oh, and a most-definitely-functional inflatable kayak…
Here’s the plan: we meet on Centennial at 6:30pm, we walk to the Esplanade, we don’t think about the exam we have the next morning. Sounds good? I’ll see ya, there!
The Weather is our Puppet
HELLLLOOOO NUHOC!!!!
Have any of you noticed the weather, lately? I mean, come on, now! It’s like ping pong, at this point. It’ll be warm and sunny one day, and the next…the next it’s cold and dreary! Ha! Not to mention that thunderstorm we just had.
But, hey–there’s a simple fix. Yeah, you heard that right! Today, at 7pm on Centennial, we’ll be hosting our semesterly WEATHER-OFF. If you dare choose to contend, you might just well control the weather for the summer. Everyone else–you get to watch your friends make a fool of themselves! (My favorite part)
I’ll see ya, there!
