Mark Synnotttttttt 12/1 General Meeting!!!
Hope you all had a great break, but Mark your calendars (haha get it haha Mark like mark your calendars like save the date haha) for this Wednesday, 12/1 at 7:30 PM in ISEC 102 for a presentation by our good friend and world-famous climber and expeditioner Mark Synnott! This will be his 27th? year coming to Northeastern and in the past he’s talked about his trips to Mt. Everest in search of the bodies of missing climbers George Mallory and Sandy Irvine, his sailing adventures, and more. This is always one of the best events of the year and because Mark prefers not to be recorded, you’ll have to just come see him in person to understand how cool of a guy he is.
We’re also still looking for some people to join our Excelsior committee (who produces our yearly newsletter) and to submit their writing/artwork/photography/anything you want really! Send Sam Barry a Slack message or come talk to anyone on Eboard at the meeting if you’re interested.
OH, and before I forget, our IKON pass giveaway ends TOMORROW! If you haven’t entered the donation raffle or merch design contest that’s ok but you had best be getting those submissions in soon.
Hope to see you there!
