General Meeting 10/30!
Happy Halloween Eve! What better way to celebrate the night before the spookiest night of the year then by joining us at our weekly meeting! Tonight we will be convening at 7:30 pm in the oddly formatted but still loveable Dodge 130. We have quite an evening planned for y’all full of recollections from Hallowork (much work was done and fun was had), a bound to be riveting LCT speech, and the annual smashing of the pumpkiñata. There’s sure to be tons of tricks and treats, but you’ll have to come on out and see them for yourself!
Winter is coming…
Game of Thrones may be over, but winter is still coming and you guys know what that means…SNOW! Where there is snow, there are bound to be people riding down mountains on it. Whether you ski or snowboard, are a pro or just starting out, you are going to need a pass to get you up the mountain and on all the best trails this season!
If that is what you are searching for you have come to the right place! NUHOC is now selling two different types of ski passes and can get you some pretty sweet discounts on them.
First up, we’ve got the trusty New England College Pass. This pass gets you access to 3 mountains -Sunday River, Sugarloaf, and Loon – and is great for anyone seeking some good adventure in the Northeast. Comes in two types – Silver, which sells for $269 and has blackout dates around major holidays and the Gold, which sells for $369 and has no blackout dates. This pass is a great deal, and if you plan on skiing more than 3 days this winter it evens itself out, which is pretty cool. Anything after that and you are basically riding for free! These are the mountains we ski most as a club so if you’re looking for some snow pals and pow days with NUHOCers this is the pass for you. You can purchase it at this link ( (http://bit.ly/NUHOC19 ) and the club will earn back some of the proceeds!
If you think you might be headed out West this season then the Ikon Pass might be a good buy for you! We have recently become partners with Ikon and now have access to their college deals. If you purchase this pass through us you can get the Base for $399 or the Full for $579. The Ikon pass gets you limited days at the previously listed mountains, but gets you access to a variety of locations across the country. If interested, please email sam.barry2482@gmail.com to get a personalized promo code.
You can also direct any and all ski/snowboard/pass related questions to that email as well. New England Pass deal ends Nov. 3oth and the Ikon ends Nov. 15th, so if you’re thinking about buying a pass, now is the time!
Keep your eye on the forecast cause temps are gonna start dropping, snows gonna start falling, lifts are gonna start running, and before ya know it the season will be in full swing! Think snow everyone!
General Meeting 10/23 – Hallowork!
Come get spooky with us up at the Loj this weekend! We will be taking sign-ups for Hallowork tonight at our general meeting. 7:30 p.m. Dodge Hall rm 130! Hope to see you there!
